Welcome to the Academic Internal Medicine Clinic

We focus on preventive health and overall well-being. Our internal medicine physicians and staff specialize in primary care for adults and patients with acute and chronic multi-system diseases. We serve a diverse patient population and see a wide range of pathology. We utilize phone/video translation services to cater to our Spanish and Haitian Creole-speaking patients.

Located right in the downtown NCH campus, in the Medical Plaza building, we are within walking distance so that residents may still attend all conferences.

Additionally, we utilize the same electronic medical record, EPIC, so we have a seamless patient encounter from the hospital to the clinic.

Schedules

The 3+1 schedule allows us to dedicate a week to our continuity clinic, which encompasses various disciplines depending on your post-graduate year. And a majority of golden weekends will coincide with your clinic weeks. Within the schedule, we reserve Monday mornings for protected ambulatory lectures.

You can expect a patient census of up to 6 patients in a half-day block, with extended appointment times to accommodate our learners.
