We have a state-of-the-art simulation center and are expanding to an even larger 10,000 sq. ft. space in the coming years. The center will provide standardized and customized scenarios to improve patient safety and outcomes, prepping the next generation of physicians, medical residents, medical students, nurses, therapists, EMS and other clinical staff which will collectively enhance individual and community health.

Our longitudinal simulation curriculum is embedded into the +1 clinic weeks of our 3+1 schedule format and covers a comprehensive set of skills for internal medicine physicians.

Supervised instructions can be provided in situations so medical professionals can master their skills without putting patients at risk.

• High-fidelity mannequins for various real-life scenarios

• Video recording cameras to document training exercises and for evaluation

• Clinical rooms, including operating, surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics and trauma 

• Currently building a conference room and technology for debriefing to provide a reflective period where post-action analysis is carried out in a safe and supportive environment
